Q: What are the benefits of becoming a member of the Arizona Driving and Carriage Society and how does one go about starting the membership process?

A: As a paid member to Arizona Driving and Carriage Society you will have access to many different features, but here are just a few:

  • You will be able to attend the many events that we have on a yearly basis.
  • You will also receive alerts of new and upcoming events.
  • You will receive a newsletter in your inbox on a monthly/semi-monthly basis. Our newsletter isn’t one of those types of newsletter that you get in your inbox and you don’t even read because its covered in ads or just doesn’t look appealing. Our newsletter is truly informative with topics that include, but are not limited to;

Trainer and breeder information.

Harness/carriage repair and sales information.

Classified ads.

Educational messages.

Information on upcoming events.

Member-submitted articles/pictures. (ADCS loves when a member would like to share something with the rest of the club.)


Q: What are the different types of events that the Arizona Driving and Carriage Society offers?

A: ADCS offers an ADT (Arizona Driving Trials) Series with Year End Rewards, Combined Pace Fun Drives, Clinics, Combined Driving Events, Pleasure Driving Shows,  a Christmas Party/ Award Banquet, and a general membership meeting twice per year.


Q: How much are membership dues, and how do I send my payment?

A: ADCS Membership dues are $30 for 2017. Currently we can only accept payment for dues by going to the Become a Member page, downloading the form, and mailing the application and dues to the ADCS Secretary. All of her information can be found on the application form. Include an additional $20 for a mailed copy of the monthly Newsletter.


Q: Why do I pay extra for the Newsletter?

A: We have a digital Newsletter that is emailed to all members’ email addresses. Printing and postage costs have required the change to this method of delivery. Dues just do not cover the expense anymore. But members without online access may request a hard copy, and should include the fee with their membership check.
