The 2026 Arizona Driving Trial Series

This page contains information about 2026 scheduled ADT events. Scroll down or use the links below to take you to a specific event.

DEADLINE TO ENTER ADT 5 IS 5PM MAY 4

For the most recent copy of our ADT rules, classes offered, and year end points> ADCS – ADT Rules**

**New Revisions for 2026, not yet in the Rules documant:

All Training Green Drivers will now be in one class, not separate classes by horse size. They will be a separate Division. Since time in obstacles does not count for Green, there is no advantage gained by a particular horse size. Cones allowed time will remain to be determined by equine size.

Also, Green Drivers are now required to have a navigator or knowledgeable horse person in the carriage with them for all phases of the ADT.

NOTICE: Participants in ADT events in 2026 (drivers and navigators) will be required to wear a safety vest in ADT Obstacles. (Exception for first year Training level Green drivers -but  still highly recommended.)

Just some reminders about downloads/printing copies. The browser you use, and the device, affects how files appear and the quality. With some, when you click on the file link, only a screen view will appear, which may not be the best quality. Better quality results from actually downloading the file to your computer before printing. Again, the browser may determine how you get the file to your computer. Some have a small window with a download icon that will appear if you hover over the bottom of the screen view with your cursor. Others require going to the FILE menu at the top of your computer screen and using the "export as pdf" under that drop down menu. Some browsers may download the file to your computer just by clicking on the file and to view the file you will have to open it on your computer. This requires knowing the destination of your downloads on your computer, which can usually be set through your browser's preferences.

INFORMATION FOR ADT at Paulden

2026 ADCS Membership is

required for entering.

Rules update. Recent changes have not yet been incorporated into the Rules document. They follow:

The required number of ADTs one must attend to qualify for a year end award is two. Previous announcement of a change to 50% was a misunderstanding.

All Green Drivers will now be in one class regardless of equine size. Since time penalties do not count in Obstacles for Green Drivers (only any earned penalty points -like corrected course) there is no advantage gained by horse size. In Cones, the allowed time for each Green Driver is still based on their equine size and course length (course length for VSE is usually shorter than for horses and ponies). This change should result in a more meaningful competition experience as in the past, many Green Driver classes had a sole competitor.

Green Drivers are also now required to have a navigator or knowledgeable horse person in the carriage with them for all phases of the ADT, as a safety issue.
