Just some reminders about downloads/printing copies. The browser you use, and the device, affects how files appear and the quality. With some, when you click on the file link, only a screen view will appear, which may not be the best quality. Better quality results from actually downloading the file to your computer before printing. Again, the browser may determine how you get the file to your computer. Some have a small window with a download icon that will appear if you hover over the bottom of the screen view with your cursor. Others require going to the FILE menu at the top of your computer screen and using the "export as pdf" under that drop down menu. Some browsers may download the file to your computer just by clicking on the file and to view the file you will have to open it on your computer. This requires knowing the destination of your downloads on your computer, which can usually be set through your browser's preferences.

LOCATION: Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds. Rodeo Park Event Center1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd.  Get Directions

DATE: December 6 and 7, 2025     FUN EVENTS - PRIZES AWARDED!

Darby is Saturday. Start time 9:00 am.  Suggest you bring a chair for the lunch.

Poker Run is Sunday. Start time 9:00 am.

Year End Awards and Banquet on Saturday will take place during a lunch break.

Food Truck is providing the food. Participation in Darby is not required to  attend the banquet. All are invited and especially those earning a year end award! If not doing the event, suggested arrival time is 11:00, but time is not exact at this point, depends on number of entries and when Darby morning runs finish. Cost for lunch is $5 for a driver or a navigator at the Darby. Cost to others is $10. Deadline to order a lunch on the 6th has passed. Count had to be given to the vendor. If you reserved a lunch via the google form sent out, but did not actually pay for the lunch yet, please bring a check or exact cash to do so at the event.

OVERNIGHTING ON SITE: Possible on both Friday and Saturday night, with room for approximately 20 horses to overnight in uncovered stock pens.

Since horses will be on site and possibly still competing when Banquet only folks arrive, we ask that each person attending submit a waiver. You can submit this via this link (all in your party should sign one): General Waiver

DARBY AND POKER RUN INFORMATION

Saturdays Darby
Our Darby will consist of 10 total gates: 7 gates you just drive through,  2 hazard-type obstacles gates A-C, and  1 Bridge. This is a timed event, and the best time will win a prize. You can have two runs if you like, one in the morning, and one after the lunch/awards banquet. We will take the best of the two runs.
It’s a lot of fun and no need to stress. Prizes will be given for Best Horse, Pony, Small Pony,  and VSE.

Sunday Poker Drive
This is a short drive of 2 miles. There will be 5 stations set up for you to receive a playing card. It will be in a closed envelope so no peeking. Don’t be surprised if you are asked a driving-related question to get your card.  At the end of the run, we will gather to open your envelopes and see who has the best hand. We will only give out one prize for this event.   We hope to be finished by noon so everyone will still have time to get home and rest.
